Otto de Rojas - Bump bump (Peru Latin Funk Soul 1976 Groovy Jazz Disco DJ Dancefloor)

by Otto de Rojas y Los Ultra '76

supported by

Otto de Rojas was one of the best piano players from Peru.. a crazy man who can mix jazz together with latin groove and plays with a special original style. On this time this couple of tracks starts in Peru the latin disco and groovy tunes for dancefloors on late 70's.

Al ritmo del bump bump is a peruvian cover based on "Soulful strut" by Young-Holt Unlimited, but played in a faster way... make it better for dance floors. Amazing wah wah electric guitar and layers of electric piano over the funky bass and brass

Choca las caderas is an orignal tune based in that "bump bump" style.. a mix of latin jazz with disco...with great groove and latin jazz sax.

Otto played in too many peruvian orchestras and also as guest of a couple of Traffic Sound songs on their self title album.

Both tracks are newly remastered having now the best sound as possible..even better than original 45 !
