Great original tunes, but also cool covers like "Bongocero" by Los Telstar's (playing the classic "Cumbanchero"), or the amazing version of "Je t'aime .. moi non plus" from Serge Gainsbourg by Conjunto Santanita
You could find here tropical music, psychedelic cumbias (Los Charles), but also funky tunes (like El Opio), soul power (Los Charles de Huaral), descargas with latin funk (Grupo Santa Fé), 70's soul (El Comienzo) , etc
Except a couple of tunes, most of this tracks are the first time to been reissued. Takes like15 years to recollect this hard to find music, and presents in the best quality way.

I have been several times in Belém and around in the delta of the Amazon & Tocantins rivers, went to carimbó little festivals in the middle of Marajó Island, taking analog photos of these afro-delta traditions, between 2000-2010 ... this release is huge, I pay homage to Samy Ben Redjeb for suceeding such a project! I hope one day Analog goes for French Guyana, Martinique & Guadeloupe vintage sounds. These CARIMBÓ-SIRIA & candomblé songs are FANTASTIC ! Chat-verre
